We want every order to go exactly right. If something doesn’t, here is what we will do about it.
Unopened Chemicals
You may return any unopened, factory-sealed chemical product within 14 days of delivery for a refund. Because we come to you, we’ll arrange a pickup at no inconvenience to you. A $10 pickup fee is deducted from the refund to cover the retrieval trip. The remaining balance is returned to your original payment method within 5 business days of pickup.
Opened Chemicals
We are unable to accept returns on any chemical that has been opened. This is a hard rule, not a technicality. Opened pool chemicals cannot be safely restocked or resold, and NJ regulations prohibit it. Please double-check your order before opening any container.
Wrong Item or Damage on Arrival
If we sent the wrong product or your order arrived damaged, we will make it right at no cost to you. Please:
- Email info@splashcartnj.com with your order number and a photo of the item within 48 hours of delivery.
- We will arrange a free replacement delivery, typically within 24 to 48 hours.
You do not need to return a damaged item; just keep or safely dispose of it.
Service Visit No-Show
Life happens. If we arrive for a scheduled service visit and cannot access your pool (locked gate, blocked access, etc.), we will not charge a trip fee. We will reschedule at no charge and aim to return within 24 to 48 hours. To avoid a missed visit, please make sure the pool area is reachable or provide your gate code at checkout.
Treatment Result Issues
We stand behind our water treatments. If your pool water is not properly balanced within 5 days of a full chemical treatment visit, contact us and we will return for a free re-treatment. This applies to full treatment visits, not individual chemical deliveries where application is the customer’s responsibility.
How to Request a Refund
Email info@splashcartnj.com with:
- Your order number
- A brief description of the issue
- A photo if the item was damaged or incorrect
We will confirm receipt within one business day and walk you through next steps.
Refund Timing
Approved refunds are processed within 5 business days and returned to the original payment method via Stripe. Depending on your card issuer, the credit may take a few additional business days to appear on your statement.
