Splash Cart NJ is a mobile pool water testing, chemical delivery, and treatment service based in Monmouth County, New Jersey. We bring clear water to pool owners across Monmouth and Ocean Counties so you can spend more time swimming and less time troubleshooting.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit our website, place an order, or contact us, and how we use, protect, and share it.
2. What Information We Collect
Contact Form Submissions
When you fill out our contact or service inquiry form, we collect:
- Your name
- Email address
- Phone number
- ZIP code
- Pool type and approximate size
- Your message or service question
Order Data
When you place an order through our WooCommerce store, we collect:
- Name, billing address, and delivery address
- Phone number and email address
- Items ordered, quantities, and order total
- Order notes you provide at checkout
Payment Data
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our website or servers. Stripe handles all payment card data using its own PCI-compliant infrastructure. After a transaction, we retain only:
- The Stripe payment token (a reference ID, not a card number)
- The last four digits and card brand (e.g., Visa ending in 4242) for receipt display
Cookies and Analytics
Our website uses cookies for basic functionality (shopping cart, session management) and, if enabled, for analytics and advertising:
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4): We may use GA4 to understand how visitors find and use our site: page views, session duration, and traffic sources. GA4 uses anonymized identifiers. You can opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by adjusting your browser’s cookie settings.
- Meta Pixel: If our Meta advertising pixel is active, it may record your visit to help us measure the performance of Facebook and Instagram ads. You can opt out of interest-based advertising through Meta’s ad preferences.
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends a GPC opt-out, we treat that as a Do-Not-Track request and do not share your data with third-party analytics or advertising providers.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Process and fulfill your orders, including coordinating delivery and service visits
- Respond to contact form inquiries and customer service requests
- Send transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping updates, service reminders)
- Improve our website, product selection, and service operations
- Comply with applicable tax, accounting, and legal obligations
We do not send marketing emails unless you have explicitly opted in.

5. Do-Not-Sell / Do-Not-Share
Splash Cart NJ does not sell personal information. If you would like to submit a formal Do-Not-Sell or Do-Not-Share request, or if you want to opt out of any behavioral tracking we may have enabled, please email us at info@splashcartnj.com with the subject line “Privacy request”. We will respond within 15 business days.
6. Data Retention
- Order records: We keep order history for 7 years to meet NJ tax and accounting requirements and to support WooCommerce’s standard record-keeping.
- Contact form submissions: Retained for 24 months, or converted to an order record if a purchase follows.
- Analytics data: Retention periods are set within GA4 settings. By default, event data is retained for 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted by Google.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Deletion: ask us to delete your personal data, subject to any legal retention requirements (such as the 7-year order retention noted above)

8. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information:
- Our website uses HTTPS (TLS encryption) for all pages and checkout
- Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe’s tokenized infrastructure. Your card numbers never touch our servers.
- We keep WordPress core, WooCommerce, and all plugins updated on a regular schedule to reduce vulnerability exposure
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we work hard to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children’s Privacy
Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted information to us, please contact us at info@splashcartnj.com and we will promptly delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of our website after a change constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
